02.01.10 - "Cooking with Basil" recipe book. And the winner is...

The school's Accommodation Officer Anne Brown is delighted to announce that Carol Murray has won this year's "Cooking with Basil" competition with her delicious lasagne recipe. Carol has received a festive Christmas hamper packed full of goodies for her efforts, and has also had her recipe published in the latest edition of the "Cooking with Basil" cookbook (along with many other excellent recipes from our creative host families)!  

Carol has been hosting Basil Paterson students for over 25 years, and we are grateful both to her and all our host families for helping make 2009 a very successful year for the school. We look forward to working with you closely over the months and years ahead.

25.11.09 - New Website Launched

 

After months of hard work, Basil Paterson launched its new website on 9 December.  The new site includes an online booking system which allows you to compare quotes of various courses, as well as up-to-date course information, slideshows, and new user-friendly layout.

1929-2009 - Basil Paterson is 80 years old

 

2009 has been an exciting year here at Basil Paterson as we celebrate our 80th year.  Although officially an octogenarian, the school has never been as modern or progressive as it is today. 

 

We celebrated our history by opening up our beautiful twin Georgian buildings to the public on September 26.  Over 1000 people came through the doors of 66 Queen Street to find out about the fascinating history of both the building and the school.  Some past students called by to share stories of their time at Basil Paterson and to admire the wall displays.
