Accommodation
Friendly and welcoming Scottish homestay accommodation is available to all our students. All families are carefully selected according to strict criteria; homes are comfortable and every student has a single room.
Basil Paterson does not accommodate two students of the same mother tongue in the same home.
In July and August, we offer the opportunity to stay in the Edinburgh University residence, Pollock
Halls (left). This option is ideal if you require more independence. The residence is a 15-minute bus
ride from the college.
We recognise that you may prefer to stay in a hotel. Over the years, we have built up a
good relationship with a range of hotels and guesthouses of various categories and from September
to June, we are happy to make a reservation on your behalf.
